What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and login credentials, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We also keep records of which files your subscription includes and standard server logs.
What we use it for
Three things: operating your account, billing your subscription, and emailing you when your monthly files are ready. Delivery emails are functional — a subject line, a link, done. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service: Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and our email delivery provider (file-ready notifications). Each receives only what it needs for its job. We disclose information beyond that only if the law requires it.
About the data we sell
The files RIA Wire sells contain business information about registered investment advisory firms — firm names, office addresses, business phone numbers, and reported assets — drawn from public SEC filings. That is regulatory public record, published by the SEC; it is not consumer personal data collected by us.
Cookies
We use the cookies required to keep you signed in. No advertising trackers.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and billing records while your account exists and as long as tax and accounting rules require afterward. Want your account deleted? Email hello@ria-wire.com and we'll do it.
